Donna is a long-time yogi who believes that yoga is a way of life and not just a physical practice. Yoga is at the very heart of who she is as a person, but she came to yoga as many of us do – through the Asana practice as a form of physical exercise. As her practice deepened, she was surprised to discover that in even the most basic yoga practice there is a depth of body awareness and muscle engagement that can be achieved and maintained by balancing prana (or breathe) with physical movement. And this balance of prana in turn, quells the frustrations of the mind and brings a deep inner sense of calm and relaxation. In this spirit, she teaches a hatha inspired vinyasa flow class where she aims to bring a fluid connection between prana and asana into each one of her classes, and help the yogis she leads discover their own inner peace and uniqueness on the mat.
