So many of you are eager to be back practicing in the studio again, and we are grateful for your continued support! Our team is working diligently to keep everybody as safe as possible. There are extensive Covid-19 regulations mandated by the NYC/NYS government that we all have to adhere to. Please read below.
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
All reservations must be made online, at least 30 minutes before the start. Walk-ins will NOT be accepted at this time.
Due to the limited number of spots available, the cancellation policy will be strictly enforced. Please cancel within 12 hours of the class. No exceptions.
At this time, coupons, discounts, guest passes and previous promotions cannot be redeemed, until further notice.
24 hours prior to your class you will receive a confirmation email with a COVID-19 health screening form. Please complete and submit this form before arrival to save time. If you do not submit the health screening form prior to arrival, you will be asked to complete one on a tablet in the studio.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTING
We will be using EPA approved and hospital-grade disinfectants to clean all surfaces including benches, floors, door handles, handrails, sink handles, toilet handles, and other common surfaces. All technology including tablets, scanners and credit card swipers used at the Front Desk will be disinfected before each use. We have equipped each practice room with carbon, HEPA and UV-light air filters to clean and circulate the air.
Masks will be required at all times including when you enter and exit the studio. Per NYS guidelines, you must also wear your mask in the practice room while you are on your mat socially-distant from all class participants.
Hand sanitizer is conveniently available around the studio.
BEFORE YOU SWEAT
We ask that customers arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before class start. Once checked in, you must go directly to your assigned spot in the studio. Be sure to only bring what you need for class.
We will work as quickly as possible to get you in and out of the studio while adhering to social distancing practices. Mat spaces in the studio will be marked following CDC guidelines for minimum 6 foot social distancing. Relocation of your mat outside the marked spaces is prohibited.
Locker room capacity will be limited to two people at a time. Remember to bring your own lock with you to safeguard your belongings as needed. We request that you only bring what is absolutely necessary.
MATS & TOWELS
We will not be providing mat and towel rentals until further notice. Please be sure to bring all the necessities you need for class with you. Please bring a bag large enough to transport your mat and towels with you as you leave the studio.
Due to sanitary reasons, water coolers will be unavailable. Essentia water is available for purchase. Please have enough water with you.
USE OF PROPS
We will discontinue the use of all yoga props until further notice. This includes blocks, bolsters, bands and use of additional towels. If you wish to bring your own from home, please disinfect them yourself in between uses. We will only provide weights and rings for Pilates classes – as these plastic and rubberized props can be disinfected after each use.
For the safety of you and our instructors, we will not be offering hands on adjustments until further notice.
LEAVING THE YOGA ROOM
While we usually love you to linger and socialize, during this time, we will ask that you leave the studio promptly to maintain social distancing. Please be sure to collect all of your personal belongings.
Showers will be unavailable until further notice.
PUTTING OTHERS FIRST
Our yoga practice calls us to lead by example and serve others. What better way to serve than help keep our community safe and healthy? As you can imagine, there have been countless hours of planning and even more details than what are outlined here. The only way to minimize the impact of COVID-19 is for you to do your part by following social distancing measures and abide by our new studio policies.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, such as a cough, fever, shortness of breath, sneezing, loss of taste/smell, nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea, please do not visit our studio until you are symptom free. If you have reason to believe that you have come into close contact with someone who has COVID-19 or if you have tested positive for COVID-19, we kindly ask that you do not visit our studios for 14 days or until you have tested negative for COVID-19.
If you have any hesitations about taking class in person, please stay at home. You may choose to practice from the comfort of your own home while maintaining your peace of mind by taking our Zoom classes. Stay engaged and stay connected until the time is right for you to come back to the studio.
We are continuing to monitor the situation and evolving CDC guidelines. As the situation with Covid-19 changes, we will adapt. All we can do is take things one day at a time. If there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 where you potentially came in contact with the individual, you will be notified immediately via email. Rest assured that we will do everything possible to ensure everyone’s health and well-being by following all protocols developed by the CDC to clean and sanitize our studios.
