As a Broadway dancer, staying in great shape has always been imperative to Karen, but years at the gym became monotonus, and did nothing to calm her mind from the stress and competitive nature of a theatre career in New York City. All of her physical demands were met in a hot yoga class, and for the first time she felt a sense of peace, focus and balance.
Karen received her 200 hour certification from Sonic Yoga.
Through the ups and downs of a life on Broadway, Karen has learned to not take anything too seriously, and lives life with humor and happiness. She strives to bring this fun, positive attitude into her teaching, while motivating her students to feel, empowered and achieve a healthy physical shape.
