Mommy & Me Yoga
Mommy & Me classes (8 weeks to 3yrs) are a fun way to reconnect with your body while enjoying time with your baby. It’s a great way to take part in an understanding community of other new moms! You are more than welcome to bring extra blankets, stuffed animals, and your stroller into the studio during these classes, though The Yoga Room provides all props needed for class including the yoga mat!
Caregivers and Dads welcome, too!
Mommy & Me classes are included with any TYR Premium Membership (ask at the Front Desk for details). Otherwise, classes are sold in packages of 10 classes for $200 (valid for a year from the date of purchase) or single class for $23. Unused classes can be applied toward any specialty classes or toward regularly scheduled classes – no refunds, no exceptions.

Mommy and Baby Yoga (8 weeks to almost walking)
Stretch, bond, and breathe with your baby in this special yoga series designed for new mothers and infants. Meet other moms and babies while you strengthen and support your post-partum, sleep-deprived body with specifically chosen asanas. Every class will devote time to gentle, hands-on yoga and massage for babies- aiding in digestion and promoting the sleep-wake cycle. Bonding postures and playful songs are also explored. Dress comfortably and bring a receiving blanket for your little one.
Mommy and Toddler Yoga (new walkers to 3 years)
The downward facing dog says “woof woof!” Play yoga with your toddler in this 8-week series for new walkers through 3-years. Stories, puppets, music and song all bring yoga poses to life as little ones strengthen their growing bodies. Explore basic anatomy, focusing techniques, and the art of sharing, in this structured and supportive class. Healthy habits begin early in life, so take a deep breath together, and discover that the “twos” are far from “terrible!” Every toddler needs an adult yoga buddy to participate. Both toddlers and adults should dress in comfortable clothing for movement.
Mommy and Preschooler Yoga (3-5 years)
A semester-based program for the preschool-aged child. Slither like snakes, hop like frogs and take a yoga adventure with your little one! A parent and child class for ages 3-5 incorporating music, movement and sequential yoga poses. Imaginative breathing exercises and creative decision making is introduced in this well rounded class.
