Hot Vinyasa for Runners

This class will focus on key joint and muscles that are crucial for efficient trouble-free sustainable running. Learn specific yoga postures to free up the hamstrings, open the hips and stretch the quads and shoulders, all of which may be overtaxed by running. Come challenge yourself at YOUR level and leave feeling more balanced running a half (13.1), full (26.2) , ultra marathon (26.2 and beyond) or a run around the block.
 
Wesley Collier has been practicing yoga since 2000. He is a graduate of the Barkan Method Hot Yoga and Level ll Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training Programs in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After growing up in Boston with a background in the arts, Wesley moved to Northern California and took advantage of the "perfect weather," running in over 30 marathons including a 62.5 mile ultramarathon in Florence, Italy. His approach to Life, his Practice and his Teaching are the same: Breath, Move, Laugh, Enjoy!
